Finance Associate
About the Position:
Wealthview Capital is seeking a part-time Finance Associate to join its team of highly qualified and dedicated professionals. The Finance Associate will play a pivotal role in supporting the firm's business operations, including overseeing accounts payable and receivable, managing QuickBooks, liaising with the firm's CPA for payroll and tax matters, and assisting with minor administrative tasks such as check deposits and phone inquiries. This position is part-time, non-remote, salaried with benefits, and based in our Jackson, MS office with growth opportunity to transition into a full -time position for the right candidate with relevant experience and expressed interest.

Responsibilities:
- Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in QuickBooks.
- Coordinate with the firm's CPA to ensure accurate payroll processing and tax compliance.
- Assist with minor administrative tasks, including check deposits and answering phones.
- Support the finance team with ad-hoc projects and tasks as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of tax regulations and payroll processes is a plus.

Associate Portfolio Manager
About the Position:
Wealthview Capital is seeking an Associate Portfolio Manager to join its team of highly qualified and dedicated professionals. The Associate Portfolio Manager will assist in the day-to-day management of client portfolios including portfolio construction, implementation, investing of new funds, periodic rebalancing, sourcing new investments, conducting due diligence and monitoring performance. The Associate Portfolio Manager will work closely with the firm’s wealth advisory team to analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support, evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts, and ensure accurate performance reporting. They will study stock market activity, execute trades, and monitor and analyze trade activity on behalf of the firm’s clients. This position is non-remote and based in our New Orleans, LA office, salaried with bonus potential and offers significant income advancement and career development opportunity as well as the ability to make a significant impact in the direction of the firm.

Prerequisites:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Math or Related field, master’s degree preferred
- Minimum 3-years’ direct industry experience
- Strong fluency with Excel formulas and functions
- Strong analytical and data gathering skills
- Attention to detail and ability to remain calm and organized
- Self-starter attitude; enjoys taking ownership of projects
- Passion to learn and grow
- Must be able to work in an autonomous and entrepreneur environment
- Ability to foster teamwork and communicate effectively
- CFP, CFA, CIMA or related certification preferred
- Series 65 required
- Exceptional understanding of the full range of investment expertise in wealth management
